Ridiculous climate change denial
Regardless of whether you think that climate change (also known as global warming) is real or not, you must agree that the proof these Congressmen offer is ridiculous.
On February 26, 2015, Senator Jim Inhofe, Republican from Oklahoma, scooped up a snowball from outside the Capitol Building and brought it into the Senate Chamber. He used it to suggest that climate change is a hoax because it was cold in Washington D.C. that day.
On January 14, 2024, Representative Lauren Boebert, Republican from Colorado tweeted this.
Since climate protesters are protesting in cold temperatures and snow somewhere on Earth, she thinks this is reason to believe climate change is not real.
Here's a map of the Western Hemisphere showing the temperatures today, as I write this. The colors represent temperature. Violet represents temperatures below zero Fahrenheit. Red represents temperatures above 100.
The temperature and weather in your area is only a small part of what's happening across the planet. To say that climate change (global warming) is a hoax because it's cold somewhere on Earth is ridiculous.
