Herbert Lawrence Block, who signed his work as Herblock, was an American political cartoonist best known for his commentaries on national domestic and foreign policy. His cartoons appeared in newspapers from about 1930 until his death in 2001. This page offers a sampling of his work.
You're likely to notice that most of the social and political issues Herblock illustrated are still with us today.
